Aurakliniken provides esthetic and traditional dental care in a calm, pleasant and stress-free environment. Cosmetic/esthetic dentistry aims to correct missing, discoloured or crooked teeth. The result being increased confidence, a greater well-being and self-esteem.

The treatments include teeth whitening, porcelain veneers and inlays, porcelain bridges, white composite fillings, implants and root canal treatments. Aurakliniken also has many years of experience in treating people with dental fear.

Aurakliniken does not strive to offer a quick fix, it rather strives to make the results of every treatment durable and esthetically correct – no matter how long it takes. For instance, all the composite fillings consist of several thin layers that are individually hardened, as opposed to merely hardening two to three times as most dentists do. The time spent is a little longer but our thorough method gives a stronger and more even result. The dentists and dental hygienists also work closely with every patient, making sure that he/she gets healthy and strong teeth and knows how to take care of them. The result being patients with healthy teeth and few or no cavities.

Aurakliniken offers specialists to perform all implant and root canal treatments. We also work closely with a specialist in orthodontics, whose clinic is just around the corner from Aurakliniken. Prior to implant surgery, the therapy is planned by the treating dentist and patient to ensure that the necessary and desired care is provided. After surgery, every patient is instructed by skilled dental hygienists on how to take good care of his/her teeth and implants.

The dentists at Aurakliniken are members of the Swedish Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (SACD) and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). In order to qualify as a member of these organisations, one has to attend courses on a regular basis; the SACD offers at a minimum four courses a year and the AACD requires the dentists to attend an one week course in the US every second year. Aurakliniken is also a member of the Swedish Dentist Association called Sveriges Tandläkarförbund as well as the Private Dentist Association called Privattandläkarna and cooperates with Försäkringskassan. You will only find licensed staff at Aurakliniken.

Aurakliniken cooperates with some of the best-educated and skilled Dental Lab Technicians in Sweden, meaning that all prosthetic work is high qualitative and almost invisible. Several treatments require the patients to visit the Dental Lab Technician, allowing the patients to have an opinion concerning the colour and shape of their new teeth so that they are sure to get the colour and shape they desire.

Aurakliniken has devoted much time and care to the design of the clinic, ensuring that every patient will feel relaxed and comfortable. The furniture, colours and decorations in the waiting room and reception area are carefully chosen to contribute to a calming and serene environment.

Equipment and Hygiene

All equipment at Aurakliniken is of highest possible standard. The equipment and materials used are constantly updated and replaced to ensure the highest standard. The dental chairs are equipped with special mattresses to make it more comfortable.

Hygiene is a top priority at Aurakliniken. All working areas and instruments are carefully cleaned and sterilised after every patient. The sterilising equipment is continually tested to ensure that it maintains optimal performance and the water is often sampled to guarantee bacteria-free water.
